Michal Jordán
Since 2011, he has been a lecturer in the field of intellectual property at numerous conferences and seminars. He has provided training, for example, as part of the CzechAccelerator project by CzechInvest, and has lectured on patents and other IP aspects in exports, notably for CzechTrade.
He’s also among experts at JIC coaching technology companies in the South Moravian Region. He is part of the RedButton expert network and collaborates closely with other innovation centers in the Czech Republic, such as MSIC and SIC.
Michal has been annually listed in the ranking of recommended patent professionals in the Czech Republic by the independent platform IAM Patent 1000 since 2018.
As a patent attorney, he currently specializes in the areas of searches, patent clearance, and protection of technical solutions. He is authorized to represent matters related to patents, utility models, industrial designs, or trademarks before the Industrial Property Office (Czech Republic), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technologies at Brno University of Technology and the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague.
He began gathering experience in intellectual property protection during his studies in Linet, where he initially worked as an electronics developer and later as the manager of the innovation and intellectual property department. There, he gained international experience in the IP field, management of R&D projects, and the evaluation of innovative ideas in terms of potential market application. Not only thanks to these experiences, he always emphasizes that IP protection should be applied where it truly makes sense for the companies.
