Ivan Lukšíček
Since his first encounter with patent protection in 2004, Ivan has gained extensive experience in the fields of patent, design, and trademark law, as well as related areas. He is an expert in complex cases of global protection, representing clients from both commercial and academic spheres. In addition to his legal practice, he is involved in lectures and educational activities in the field of industrial property rights.
Since 2015, he has been active in the Association of Mediators and Arbitrators in Intellectual Property Matters and the Licensing Executives Society Czech Republic (LES CR). In 2019, he was elected a member of the board of the Chamber of Patent Attorneys of the Czech Republic and is part of the editorial board of the journal Intellectual Property. Ivan Lukšíček is consistently recognized among the top patent professionals in the Czech Republic in independent rankings such as IAM Patent 1000 – The World’s Leading Patent Professionals and IP Stars.
He graduated from the Faculty of Transportation Sciences at the Czech Technical University in Prague and from the Applied Informatics at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University.
During his studies, he began working as an assistant to a patent attorney. Initially focusing on patent law, design protection, and research in industrial property databases, he gradually expanded into other areas of intellectual property protection.
He has been a patent attorney since 2008, representing clients before the Industrial Property Office (IPO Czech Republic), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
In his professional life, he enjoys learning new things and solving puzzles and complex problems to best assist his clients. Outside the office, you’ll most likely find him at volleyball and other sports events.
